Director After Sales (m/f)
The Director After Sales is responsible for the operations of the After Sales team in the Netherlands. The After Sales team consists of three regions with in total approximately 160 service mechanics. The office organization consists of three teams as well: Service Accounts, Service Support and Technical Support.
The world of material handling is a fast-changing world, which requires an optimal collaboration with the Sales and other operating departments to maintain our status of being a market leader. The After Sales Director is part of the Team of Directors and, in cooperation with his or her team, will be responsible for the strategy of the Dutch organization.
The Director will translate the overall strategy to the service organization and will lead the service organization through a transition to make it futureproof. Together with the management team he or she will be responsible for executing the strategy throughout the service organization.
He or she will be reporting to the Managing Director of Toyota Material Handling Nederland B.V.
The candidate is result driven and has a heart for technique. He or she knows how a technician handles the service activities and understands that details do matter in order to provide excellent customer service. He or she has the capacity to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels and acts as a facilitator to his/her coworkers, so they can excel.
The candidate values the importance of trust and delegation and recognizes how both can strengthen the skills and self-confidence of his or her coworkers.
Master’s degree (preferably an MBA);
Proven track record in strategic thinking and transition management;
At least 10 years of experience in a similar role;
Relevant experience in service management;
Excellent communicator, both in Dutch and English.
